Super Soft Scale Dark Red Phantom Pinstripe Dalmatian - Muted Whiteout Lateral Markings - 67g Female
This if actually a lineage of darker red that randomly sprang from the descendants of our original Soft Scale female, who is a very rich chocolate brown. These geckos tend to develop a lot of olive pigment at times - one of the components of that rich chocolate color, I assume.
If you have a serious Phantom and/or Dalmatian project going, this gecko introduces Phantom, Dalmatian spots, the Soft Scale gene and Whiteout lateral markings. This is a set of genes/traits that will take any serious Phantom and/or Dalmatian project years into the future. Better yet, we've found that it's quite easy to clean up the color and utilize the red pigment if you want. I've found breeding them to red or black Phantoms tends to work very well - reds will result in some quality red color and blacks will result in some dark, jet black Phantoms. All in all, this is a VERY cool, yet not flashy colored, gecko that brings a lot to the table in terms of genetics and size/structure.
