Margin - Trait/Gene

This is a relatively common, but still relatively unknown trait/gene that I've known about for years.  In recent years, though, we've started producing geckos where these markings run the entire length of the dorsal, rather than being limited to the crests along the neck and back of the head.  Because I've never selectively bred for this trait, I believe these more extreme examples may be the super form of it.  After talking to some other breeders, it's widely believed to be an actual gene.

While not rare and commanding thousands of dollars on its own, I think this project has a ton of potential, particularly when mixing with other pigments and genes that have an impact on dorsal markings...like Tangerine, Empty Back, etc.

We'll be posting more of these geckos for sale and more information in the coming year.
