ABOUT ACR WHOLESALE

You can rest easy, knowing the geckos you receive have been raised here since the day they hatched, they have never been shipped before, never taken to a show or exposed to any animals outside of our collection.  We proudly maintain a closed-collection policy, which means no new animals are brought into our facility, except in very rare circumstances. There have been a total of seven crested geckos brought into the collection since 2007 - something I only allow in order to bring in a wild-caught bloodline and a couple of genes that I wanted to add.

Every gecko we sell is produced right here at our facility in Kansas City, Missouri and comes from our own selectively bred, designer bloodlines that go back 10-20 generations to my original founding stock purchased in the early to mid 2000's.  All gecko pairings are made with selective breeding and genetic diversity in mind.  I still personally decide which geckos go into every pairing, handle every gecko we hatch and I put every one of them into the deli cups when they are shipped.

ACR is home to one of the largest crested gecko collections on the planet, so we produce a far more high-end designer geckos than we would possibly have time to photograph to sell individually on the website.

3 GRADES OF CRESTED GECKOS

COMMON MORPHS
Every breeder is going to produce a smaller proportion of plainer, lower gene-count geckos, simply as a byproduct of the genetic odds game that we're playing.  For every 1-in-8 three-gene genetic combo you hatch, you will also hatch a gecko that inherited zero of those three genes - that's how genetic odds work. Those plainer geckos are what you will see referred to as common morphs.  These geckos often sell out very quickly to pet shop distributors, due to their low price and the fact that we (intentionally) don't produce very many.

HIGH-END
Then, there are our high-end designer geckos.  These are geckos that would have been cutting edge several years ago, and in many cases are still selling for hundreds of dollars as adults. These geckos are still very high quality geckos by today's standards, still have our trademark structure, but they're just no longer rare and demanding huge $1,000+ premiums as adults.

ULTRA HIGH-END
I will also wholesale geckos from our my newest projects, which are referred to as Ultra High-End.  These geckos become available in surplus in cases where we might have better than expected luck with a particular project or gene, or we just produced too many from a particular project at a particular time (usually due to seasonality).  If you're a breeder, this is a great way to add to your own projects and offer a better/bigger selection to your customers by selling off what you don't need.  This grade is our most popular seller to serious gecko breeders.

MINIMUM ORDER POLICY

- NO MINIMUM NUMBER OF GECKOS
Order however many you want now that the 10 gecko minimum has been removed from the various grades of hatchlings and juveniles.

- NO MINIMUM DOLLAR AMOUNT
Disabling our minimum order amount allows customers to add a few more of this or that as they become available, no more needing to ask me for a private link, etc.

- ONLY CATCH: $100 Minimum Shipment Value
The only minimum we have is on the shipment value. You can piece a shipment together with multiple orders or whatever works for you.  All we ask is you spend at least $100 on geckos (not counting shipping cost) before scheduling your shipment.

WHOLESALE SHIPMENT SCHEDULING

All wholesale orders require shipment to be scheduled at least one full week in advance.  Please understand the shipping schedulee can fill up quickly after a spell of bad weather, so that's not a one week guarantee.  If you need a shipment in time for a show or an in-store promotion, just get in touch with me ahead of time to see what we can do to meet your timeframe!
