This girl has a Lavender base that is drop-dead gorgeous and does not go black when fired up. The last photo shown is labeled fully fired and you'll see that she just doesn't get much darker. When fully relaxed, she looks almost powder blue in person. Incredible color...and everything else!
The tangerine pigment on her isn't super saturated in pink, but more of the traditional tangerine pinkish-orange color, which is typical of pure lavenders, where the entire gecko is more lightly pigmented. That said, the Tangerine pigment is still very strong and way, way more obvious in person. Every cream marking on her is tinted with it and it compliments the lavender base color beautifully - great example of why I started the Tangerine x Lavender line projects when they were originally a byproduct of the first pairing I ever did with the original Tangerine female.
She is also a direct descendant of our incredibly large and awesome Tangerine x Lavender line Super Soft Scale, named Big Head, who is 95 grams (no tail), with roots also going directly back to the original Tangerine female. Big Head has the largest head that I've ever seen in this species and it's actually perfectly proportioned (not just wide). Her head may look pretty normal right now, but you have to remember she's the equivalent of a 51 gram subadult - although she is ready to breed, she's nowhere near done growing or developing. She should be an absolute monster by the age of 4-5 years.
