COMMON MORPH HATCHLING CRESTED GECKO
- Unsexed
- 4+ Weeks of Age
Every breeder is going to produce a smaller proportion of plainer, lower gene-count geckos, simply as a byproduct of the genetic odds game that we, as breeders, are playing. For every 1-in-8 three-gene genetic combo you hatch, you will also hatch a gecko that inherited zero of those three genes - that's how genetic odds work. These lower gene-count geckos are what you will see us refer to as common morphs.
Recommended For: Pet Shops, Reptile Shows
Great geckos for beginners, but will also be purchased occasionally by breeders who want more of a clean slate to breed to, in order to prove out other genes that they're working on.
Suggested Resale Price Point: $30-100+ as hatchlings. 2-3x that as adults.

What does "Common Morph or Better" mean?
Because we don't produce as many and they sell out quickly, aa lot of times I have to go through and find the common morphs as I pack orders. Often times, particularly on larger orders, we will run out of commons and fill in the rest of the order with higher end geckos.
