This is essentially a wild type crested gecko from my original "Marble" project that I started in 2003-2004. These geckos had the typical wild type head and dorsal structure (non-Pinstripe) that was prevalent in the early 2000's. What I wanted from this genetic lineage was their size. A Marble project male was my first gecko to reach 70+ grams and he got there in two years flat - not a bulky gecko, just a longer, scaled-up version of any other wild type crested gecko. This girl is the offspring of an early F2 generation Marble group (meaning her parents are old enough to vote and buy beer). As soon as these were outcrossed, the blocky structure from Pinstripe was super easy to plug in and we were off to the races. Once that was bred in, we really didn't see this wild type structure in subsequent lines and Marble outcross projects.
